Performers include Lynn Chang, Craig Juricka, Kyoka Minami, Rictor Noren, David Russell, Robert Sheena, Emily Siar, Christopher Sierra, Linda Toote, Carlos Vargas, and Marimolin members Sharan Leventhal and Nancy Zeltsman. Repertoire includes Bach’s complete Coffee Cantata (BWV 211) and works by Valerie Coleman, Claude Debussy, and Gunther Schuller.

Boston Baroque’s 50th Anniversary Season begins with Bach’s masterpiece, the Mass in B minor. One of Johann Sebastian Bach’s (1685-1750) later works, the music’s luminous drama is brought to life by Boston Baroque’s renowned orchestra and chorus, and soloists Amanda Forsythe, Sonja Tengblad, Tamara Mumford in her Boston Baroque debut, Nicholas Phan, and Kevin Deas.

Shakespeare’s Macbeth as you’ve never seen it before!
In 1664, William Davenant adapted Shakespeare’s Macbeth for the age, infusing it with music that was performed by some of the finest singers of the day. Come experience scenes and music from the Scottish play as it was performed to enormous success on the Restoration and 18th Century stage. Emily plays one of the three witches, who loom larger in this production as the Wayward Sisters weave their spells in song.
